Dedication is at the core of DogGenes. As a Certified Clinical Genetics professional, an experienced hands on dog breeder/exhibitor and a life-long devotee of dogs, I am committed to providing you the best genetic information possible to have healthier dogs.

I have lived the trials and tribulations of canine health and well-being with you over the past 30 years and my mission is to provide you accurate, understandable, practical and compassionate genetic education, information and services.

In addition to my extensive career in human clinical genetics, and track record of breeding of exceptional Briards with excellent health and longevity, I have worked professionally in canine genetics and continuously supported canine genetic health research..  

Professionally I have worked as the DNA coordinator for the Waltham Canine Gene Collection for Mars Veterinary This work contributed to the development of Mars' Genetic Testing panels and supported work for many canine health researchers. This included sample collection with the NIH-NRGI Dog Genome Project.

Offered Comprehensive Canine Genetics Course via E-Training for Dogs

Privately, I have supported and facilitated research for the AKC-CHF and private researchers facilitating canine genetic research through financial donation, participation and funding/facilitating sample collection so support canine genetic research.

I even started by PhD in canine genetics under Keith Murphy at Texas A&M. But, I did not want to be a researcher but wanted to bring you the Genetic Counseling that I bring families in Human Medicine.
